What is Medical Therapeutic Yoga? 

It is the application of medical principles to Yoga, utilizing modified positioning, Yogic Breathing, and Yoga Foundations for rehabilitating clients with medical conditions. These conditions may be orthopedic or related to other diagnoses, such as autoimmune dysfunction. Medical Therapeutic Yoga is applied to the core and pelvic floor and relates to voice, communication, stress reduction, meditation, total body movement, joint preservation, especially for those with joint hypermobility, and mindfulness.
