Comprehensive & Integrative Pelvic Health Solutions

At Garner Pelvic Health, we help people find answers and reclaim their quality of life when pelvic and orthopedic concerns have limited their ability to live, work, perform, and thrive. We specialize in the treatment of complex conditions, with particular expertise in endometriosis, hypermobility and hip-related disorders, and the connection between voice, breath, and pelvic floor function through Dr. Garner’s Voice to Pelvic Floor™ approach.

Whether you are recovering from surgery, navigating pregnancy and postpartum changes, managing persistent pain, moving through perimenopause and menopause, or trying to return to sport or performance level, our care is designed to address the underlying patterns contributing to dysfunction. We combine evidence-informed practice with a whole-person perspective, creating individualized treatment plans that honor each patient’s unique goals, experiences, and strengths.

Meet our founder, Dr. Ginger Garner

We understand that periods of physical transition, high-performance demands, and complex health concerns can bring significant discomfort, uncertainty, and disruption to daily life. Whether you are navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery, perimenopause or menopause, recovering from injury or surgery, managing a chronic condition, or striving to meet the demands of athletics or professional performance, these challenges can affect every aspect of your well-being.

Too often, people find themselves searching for answers after seeing multiple healthcare providers without achieving meaningful relief. At Garner Pelvic Health, we take these concerns seriously. Our approach recognizes that pain and dysfunction are often multifactorial, with two common underlying contributors frequently driving symptoms and limiting quality of life:

Significant physiological transitions and life events—including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, surgery, injury, and the physical demands of caregiving—which can alter pelvic floor function, movement patterns, breathing mechanics, and overall musculoskeletal health.

The interaction between hormonal influences, movement patterns, training demands, lifestyle habits, and environmental factors, all of which can contribute to pelvic floor dysfunction and persistent musculoskeletal symptoms. These influences may be especially relevant during periods of hormonal transition, as well as for athletes, singers, dancers, actors, and other performers whose careers depend on optimal physical performance and resilience.

What distinguishes Garner Pelvic Health is the depth and breadth of expertise offered by our founder, Dr. Ginger Garner. As a doctor of physical therapy, educator, author, and internationally recognized speaker, Dr. Garner has dedicated her career to advancing the fields of pelvic health, orthopedic rehabilitation, and integrative care.

Her work bridges the connection between voice, breath, movement, and pelvic floor function through the development of the innovative Voice to Pelvic Floor™ methodology. Utilizing advanced assessment techniques, including rehabilitative ultrasound imaging when appropriate, Dr. Garner helps uncover the underlying factors contributing to pain, dysfunction, and impaired performance.

Patients seek Dr. Garner’s expertise for complex concerns that often require a more comprehensive approach—including persistent pelvic pain, hypermobility-related conditions, hip dysfunction, postpartum recovery, hormonal transitions, and the unique demands placed on athletes and performing artists. Her experience also includes working with professional athletes, Broadway performers, and recording artists whose health and performance are integral to their careers.

At Garner Pelvic Health, we are committed to helping every individual reclaim comfort, confidence, resilience, and the ability to fully participate in the activities that give life meaning—whether that means returning to sport, stepping back onto the stage, strengthening the core and pelvic floor, or simply moving through daily life with greater ease. Voice to Pelvic Floor Approach

Dr. G’s groundbreaking “Voice to Pelvic Floor” method offers a comprehensive solution to women’s health issues. At the core of this method is our use of ultrasound imaging, which precisely reveals areas where muscles or related fascia are being negatively impacted or inefficiently. This visual insight allows us to tailor a unique treatment plan for each woman. We then employ a combination of vocal training, breathwork, movement exercises and lifestyle medicine to retrain these muscle systems, promoting proper function and alleviating discomfort. When necessary, we also consider hormone therapy as part of our multidisciplinary team approach to further support and optimize pelvic health, along with other protocols like nutrition and stress management interventions.. Our comprehensive method addresses the body’s interconnected systems, providing personalized solutions for women’s health needs throughout various life stages.

Hormonal Issues

Hormonal dysregulation can significantly impact your health, particularly during perimenopause and menopause and for conditions like endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, and interstitial cystitis, or painful bladder syndrome. At Garner Pelvic Health, we work with you to help manage hormones, address pelvic pain, and enhance your overall well-being. We use a combination of functional and lifestyle medicine, dietary modifications, stress relief techniques (and hormone replacement as part of our team approach when necessary) to support you on your health journey.

Biotensegrity (Fascial) Problems

Our expertise extends to diagnosing and treating myofascial pain syndrome and mobility problems, also known as biotensegrity issues. These issues can arise from scars, adhesions, and other fascial constraints, often overlooked in the biomedical model. Our targeted therapies help you manage fascial restriction, which can show up as muscle inhibition, weakness, pain, and nerve or vascular pain. Treatment results include decreased pain, improved pelvic mobility, increased voice to pelvic floor fascial mobility, and improved vocal and sexual health, ensuring that your pelvic health is comprehensively and compassionately addressed.

Biomechanical Issues

At Garner Pelvic Health, we excel in addressing biomechanical issues related to pelvic health, such as loss of joint mobility, ligament injury, cartilage and labral tears, hip impingement, and resulting muscle dysfunction. We focus on the complex interactions between pelvic muscles, ligaments, and fascia to restore biomechanical balance and functionality. Our integrative and compassionate approach ensures optimal pelvic floor health and reduces discomfort, allowing you to move freely and live comfortably.
